Actress, singer, and television host Karla Estrada, got pregnant at the young age of 20, just five years after she achieved fame in Philippine showbiz in the early ‘90s. She revealed that she didn’t have the opportunity to sulk about her situation.
"Wala akong room para mag-drama," she told ABS-CBN during an exclusive interview.
Wala akong time for that. Kasi I need to work, kailangan kong magtrabaho ulit. Kailangan kong mag-taping ulit," she added.
Karla narrated how she and her kids enjoyed living off of the money she earned from her TV roles and hosting jobs. However, she shared it would have been more difficult for her if the various fathers of her children did not support their school fees.
Rest assured, given her stable career now, and with all of her kids already grown up, life has become much easier for Karla Estrada. The “Magandang Buhay” host also shared that she is not a strict mom and she usually lets her kids do whatever they want. Although, she said she wants them to learn from her mistakes.

Karla is one of the most well-known single moms in the country, and she takes pride in it. After Senator Tito Sotto’s “na-ano lang” remark made waves, Karla did not hold back and expressed her sentiments.
“Mahirap maging single mom or parent dahil ikaw ang tumatayong nanay at tatay.
