This is based on Facebook's post by journalist Tony Calvento, who says "THIS COMING WEEK VHONG NAVARRO WILL BE ARRESTED!"
It is related to the bugle, busting, and intimidation of Vhong by group of Deniece and businessman Cedric Lee, in the Taguig City condo unit of the girl, on the night of January 22, 2014.
In an official statement received by PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) today, July 10, the Atty. Alma Mallonga, Vhong's legal counsel, has yet to formally file the DOJ regarding the third complaint filed by Deniece against It's Showtime host. The lawyer said, "We have not received any resolution recommending the filing of charges against Vhong.
On January 20, 2014, three days after the incident, Deniece seen the result from her medical checkup that she had a "bacterial vaginosis" or "vaginal infection," which allegedly the girl got from Vhong.
The model wants to refer to the above-mentioned personalities of Vhong's abuse against her.
According to Deniece, when Cedric's group left his condo unit, Vhong suddenly came to her house.
Vhong wants to personally ask for forgiveness for allegedly raping her.
Based on the story of Deniece, she was surprised when suddenly Vhong tried to rape her again.
In those moments, however, Cedric's group came again and Vhong was caught in the abusive act on Deniece. When Deniece brought and file a blotter against Vhong into the Southern Police District in Taguig, they found a "small bottle of strange liquid" that was known as "date rape drug" -so much less known as "GBL" or "GHB.
According to Deniece, Vhong used it when he allegedly raped her on the evening of January 17.
But Vhong's legal counsel strongly disapproves.
Atty. Mallonga said some of the evidence submitted by Vhong's camp in Deniece's previous rape complaint was completely dismissed by the DOJ in 2014.
Base on their official statement on PEP, Atty. Mallonga said : “Remember the widely circulated CCTV footages showing Deniece going down the elevator less than a minute after leaving Vhong in her condo unit?
“She was smiling at her images while in the elevator, and then calmly walked away.
“This, among other evidence, was what impelled the DOJ to dismiss the first complaint for rape (which allegedly happened on January 22, 2014) that Deniece filed against Vhong.
“Instead, the DOJ filed charges for serious illegal detention and grave coercion against Deniece, Cedric Lee, Zimmer Raz, and others.
“As you may know, trial in these cases are ongoing.”
