The most rewarding experience for a mother working abroad was to finally see her children after so long. They are the reason why they sacrifice and endure the pain of living far away from them.
Modern heroes as what they called today. The OFW’s who sacrifice practically everything just for their families to survive. OFW’s leave the country in pursuit of a better life for their loved ones. They bear the times they are forced to be away from their family and some even tolerate the abuse of their employers as long as they get their pay.
The most heartbreaking times for OFWs are when they celebrate their birthdays, Christmas, and special holidays, apart from their families. However, the most rewarding experience for every OFW parent out there would be when they finally meet their families once again and take home lots of "pasalubong" for them. This was what Facebook user Gonzales Jairo Manguiat witnessed at an airport in the Philippines.
The video showed a mother coming home from abroad and finally meeting her children for the first time after so long. She was her sister who works abroad for her 2 daughters. Upon seeing her children running towards her, she immediately bursts into tears of joy. She felt happy that she is finally reunited with her family.
This kind of scene on airports are the most touching one could ever witness. Especially on mothers who have little kids.
The internet’s response was just as emotional, with some netizens claiming they cried after watching the video. Others reminisce their experience same as this mother has. Most of them praise all the OFW who works far away from their family.
